Services provided at the Administration Department

The Administration Office located at the main window on the first floor of the City Building is to serve the needs of the community as well as assist all other city departments in fulfilling their function.  The Administration employees are here to help all citizens with their governmental service needs.

Karen Meholic, Donna Smith, Marsha Maher and Janina Hall are full time union employees in this department.  They are here to answer questions you may have concerning city related services.  If you need to report things such as broken traffic signals or signs, pay taxes and garbage invoices, obtain various forms and reports please call our office or stop in person.  Janina handles mainly the sanitation issues, Donna Smith is the Deputy Tax Collector, and Marsha Maher is the city’s Meter Attendant.

Karen Meholic also supports the Police Department by handling their secretarial duties and can help you with obtaining Event Permits, Solicitation Permits, Handicap Parking Application, and various other documents.

Event Permits are required if you plan to have a Block Party, Festival, Car show and other events. The permit has instructions provided to complete the form, and you will need to provide Karen with a $10 fee and a Liability Insurance Form listing the City as an Additional Insured.  Karen will then process the application and call you when the permit is approved.

Solicitation permits are required if you plan on going door to door to residents selling or talking about products or services.  Karen can supply you with the permits for $5 per day per person after approval from the City Manager.  This is normally a two to three day process.
